One-click bookmarklet
Drag the button to your bookmarks bar. Then on any car listing — Cars.com, AutoTrader, CarGurus, CarMax, Facebook Marketplace, a dealer site, anywhere — click the bookmark. We pre-fill the year, make, model, price, and mileage and open your decision report.
The bookmarklet runs inside your browser on the page you're already looking at — it doesn't fetch anything itself — so it works on sites that block automated reads from our servers.
How to install
- Make sure your bookmarks bar is visible. In Chrome / Edge / Brave:
View → Always Show Bookmarks Bar(or ⌘⇧B / Ctrl⇧B). In Safari:View → Show Favorites Bar. - Drag the blue button above into your bookmarks bar. (Right-click also works — pick Bookmark Link in some browsers.)
- Open any car listing in your browser, then click the bookmark. A new tab opens with everything pre-filled.
When it works best
- The listing page shows a clear title like "2020 Toyota Camry SE" — every listing site does this.
- The price is visible somewhere on the page as
$22,500or similar. - The mileage is visible as
45,000 mior45K miles.
If anything is missing, the wizard just leaves that field for you to fill in — it won't fail.
Why a bookmarklet instead of an extension?
A bookmarklet is one line of JavaScript stored in your bookmarks bar. No installation, no permissions to grant, no app to update. You can read the entire code in view source. If you'd rather use a Chrome / Edge extension, that's on our roadmap.
